{hug}

Remember, what is between your ears and how you use it is what counts.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('AgentR', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Jack', 'T')he age of the wolves approaches. Gather your pack.

Corollary... When your pack calls. GO. Likes and dislikes, grudges and scores, set'em aside, be there.

You think you don't have time for them in your busy life...

You don't have time for that "busy life", trust me, it can wait.

What are we, fracking Bonobos? SPG, you're getting soft. Sounds like you just need to go shootin', or maybe hit the heavy bag a bit :twisted:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('EndOfGrowth', 'Y')ou need to take time out from this forum and limit your news intake, better still, turn off the fekking P.C for a few days!

Good advice. I went without Internet for most of this year. It was nice---gardened a lot more, played a lot more guitar, read a lot more books, got out a lot more. Only got hooked on the Intercrack again because I wanted to look for work, plus I started taking horticulture classes that required online access. But now I'm spending an inordinate amount of time on PO.com again, damn it. The recent "troubles" don't help. Gods help us, we appear to be on the leading wave of a New Great Depression. Frack.

OK, I need a hug now, too. :oops:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('smallpoxgirl', 'A')nybody else?

I'm so scared I can barely function. For years I've felt like a loon with all my dire predictions for the future. Now it's all starting to happen. I was much happier being the paranoid loon.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('smallpoxgirl', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Bytesmiths', 'A')ction is the antidote to fear. Do something -- anything -- positive about your future, and watch the fear dissipate. (That does not include reading and/or posting to this forum!)

LOL! You should see my house!

I've got 50 pounds of carrots and 8 pineapples in the fridge. In the last two weeks I've canned corn, beans, pears, peaches, pineapples, and pasta sauce - probably 300 pints in total. I've got another 150 canning jars stacked in the living room along with a big stack of beans, rice, mylar bags, and plastic buckets to store them in. I've ordered reloading supplies and a new gun.

I'm not sure what else I can *do* at the moment.

I don't know what's befallen you SPG, but it sounds like you're doing more than great. Things are bad for a lot of people, but it's important we don't mistake others' misfortune for our own.

Deal. Got a messed up Saiga that I think I can fix, but need to get more range time to test it. A hug before hand is sure to get Lady Luck on my side. :)

Here's a hug from the whole family here in TN! I kept myself really side tracked last week by decorating for halloween/ fall-Walmart has some really cute scarecrows and jack-o-lanterns that light up. We also purchase some mums, pumpkins and decorative gourds. This week I'm going to bake brownies and put the candy pumpkins on top. Definitely not anything I would count toward peak oil preps.Too bad you don't live near us SPG, you could come over and eat dinner with us-at least it would make you take a break!!!

Sorry to say fellas and gals, but e-hugs never changed the world. Sittin' on the end of your bed worrying isn't going to get you anywhere.

Have some faith in yourself! And in your fellow man! People really do want to live!

That sounds like a lot of fun. What part of TN are you in?

We live approx. 1 hour south of Nashville near the Alabama border. We moved here almost 1 year ago-prior to that we were in SW Florida on the Gulf-nice place in the winter but getting crowded with alot of crime-so this was a lifestyle change becoming a rural doctor again with the convenience of Vanderbilt being up the road. Its great for the kids-typical small town-the same friends they go to school with are in their church group, soccer teams, etc. We would love to have you visit!
