only nitrogenous fertilisers are made from fossil fuels .... ie natural gas

Phosphate and Potash are mined rocks

Really, when was the last time a wind generator blade flew off and hit California?

Comparing the power output between a wind turbine and a major nuclear power station is a bit like comparing a mouse to an elephant. A mouse dumps on your garden and you won't notice, but an elephant!

As it is, most accidents in power stations occur in the electrical generation part of the station, as in turbines or alternators failing as opposed to the primary fuel source or boiler failing.

Don't let the door hit you on the way out. Also if your feeling particularly giving to mother nature why don't you just quit and the save resources your going to spend on yourself.
