$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('some_guy282', '"')I'd like to help save the environment, but I can't give up my car. That's like asking someone to give up chocolate. It's not going to happen." - paraphrased from a woman speaking in a BP comercial.

I wanted to laugh and cry when I saw this. But mostly, I wanted to pull the woman out of the TV and beat her to death.

Dude, I feel you so bad. I can't even bear to watch that stinking BITCH. I want to beat her upside the head myself.

Now why didn't I take the blue pill.

Keep in mind the lady in this ad is thinking in terms of our current society, where you really do need a car in most places. Something tells me she isn't under the impression that if she gives up her car we will suddenly develop a walkable society with good mass transit. Are you people really so stupid that you can't see the ad from this perspective? As for the chocolate comparision, big deal. People like chocolate. People like driving. Both are addictive. But addictions that can easily be overcome. Really, the thought of not having a car is probably a lot worse than actually not having one.

The elitism here is absurd. Just cause you bike doesn't mean you aren't a more dispicable person than somebody who drives.
