being i'm a skeptic about the current system as it is anyway, i decided to do some research, and...well...here i am.

i hope you will welcome me into your community. i am looking forward to my time on here and hopefully, we can stop this from happening...even if it starts at a relative grassroots level.

this = the seemingly inevitable breakdown of civilization...which is looking like the most likely outcome...or so it seems...

Oh, ok. Well, I have to say I don't share your goal, because I believe our civilization has proven itself to be inherently unsustainable and self-destructive. I'd like to see our culture change its root beliefs and assumptions to something that works.

excellent, excellent point! i agree that there must be absolute fundamental changes to the way we live if we are to survive relatively unscathed...if surviving relatively unscathed is even possible.

Without accepting that we need fundamental changes and getting a good percentage of the population along with that idea, we will hit a wall. I hope we can find more people like yourself and others around here to shout “TURN!!!â€
