Ok this is a shot in the dark.

I'm feeling mighty doomerish tonight and decided I need a new background to help my mood along. I've been trying to track down a picture that I don't remember much about, don't know the name, the artist the period or even the main subject.

Here's what I do remember /guess

It's old or at least seems old think dark ages- middle ages old
It's either about plague or war and has lots of death/dying in it
It's mostly peasants being offed by the skeleton/corpse things
It contains a skeleton possibly death holding an arrow
It's relatively famous because I'm sure I've seen it in some movie clips of disturbing images over the years.

Anyone have any clue what I'm talking about?

Did he do anything else similar to this? The creatures look the same but this isn't the image I have in my mind. Very similar to my description though. I'm impressed
