I've been both sides of the fence as a Regional rep for my Lecturers Union and as an employer of both unionised and non-unionised labour.

As an employee, I personally didn't earn as much in the unionised places I worked, but the general pay & conditions were better.

As an employer I found it much more productive dealing with a structured unionised labour force than non-unionised where petty politics continually raised it's head. We had a dispute in one of my companies (non-unionised) with a woman who was basically a professional tribunal attendee. Her union rep, who incidentally I didn't have a relationship with as he only had two members in the company, was the voice of reason and basically tried to persuade her to see sense and stop the action. His nn appearance at the tribuanl saved us thousands.

I say your elections are fake, and "they" are getting better at fixing them every time.
Make the candidates (which "they" picked anyway) be at 50% then it's too easy to use those mysterious voting machines so the right man wins. Only once did "they" made a mistake in fixing the elections and that was Kennedy.
I live in Romania where we don;t have voting machines, jsut paper votes, still I do not care to vote. If they are not corrupt then they are stupid - and controlled by others. Smart and honest people are not to be found in politics.
