$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Volcanic21', 'I')'m really looking forward to the end of modern child-rearing practices, which have turned many children into fat, lazy, disrespectful, mentally ill punkasses. I'll be so happy when kids have to be self-reliant again, and will actually be free enough to make mistakes and learn from them. When I was a kid, if I didn't have to do chores or go to school, after breakfast my mom would boot my ass out of the house and tell me to "go play, and you're not allowed back in the house till 5 unless you're bleeding." So I went out and found other kids in the neighborhood, and we made up games, built forts, climbed trees, explored forests, started fires, got dirty, had water fights, had real fights, looked at stolen Playboys, learned about sex, tried sex, tried booze, tried cigarettes, pulled pranks, went on bike rides, threw rocks, invented stuff, destroyed stuff, and generally just had a lot of fun and got into a lot of trouble. We had real experiences, and were independent and responsible for our actions (if we got caught). There was no schedule, no supervision, and no whining. Nowadays, though, kids spend all their time watching TV, playing video games, texting, IMing, and going to scheduled, supervised activities where there is no real danger or meaningful life experience to be had. When I see kids today, I get pissed because so many of them are such whiny, disrespectful punks, but I also feel sorry for them, because they seem so unhappy. I'm hoping peak oil changes all this, and returns us to the days when kids were free to be kids in their free time (when they're not working in the fields).

Leave my children to fend for themselves and get picked up by a child molester? No thanks.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('cualcrees', '
')So, here's the question: Which industry, hobby, product, group of people, etc. would you love to see disappear thanks to the magic of PO?
What's your guilty pleasure?

hooola!!!!
Well, I was watching in "planet in peril" from CNN about how chinese people are now worse than americans.. so I would want the chinese that live in China (if there are in other countries I don't mind, its not racist) to dissapear first.

Well and as long as I'm wishing also it would be good that:
- ugly people
- mm I don't know how to say it in english but you'll understand.. NACOS!!! (underpriviledged people with terrible taste for music, clothing, cars and everything else that you can think of)
- and stupid people!
would also banish...
the rest I can almost stand.

The look on your faces when the SHTF and you realize you really do miss this stuff, while your out trying to scrape out enough to eat from the hard pan in your backyard!

You best enjoy the good life while you can. I think tomorrow I will go sailing, catch the wind, drink some good scotch and watch the sunset.
Viddy well, little brother. Viddy well.

I agree with most of the above, with the exception of video games. While playing a video game is certainly a guilty pleasure, I don't have any desire to see them go.
