I saw a great tit bashing a catepillar to death on a branch in my garden only a few days back.

Well according to this Mother Earth News Article, Asses are very durabile and versitle creatures.

I was looking for a hen and a rooster the other day when I came across a mule, bought it on behalf of a buddy of mine.

Talking to the farmer, he explained that the hen was under a year old so she was called a pullet. The rooster was hatched about the same time, when young, they are called cockerels, cock for short.

I saw the mule, it was the pet of the guys wife, I negotiated with her for the thing, $200, not a bad price, but it was my buddies money, and I called him about it, he thought it was an excellent price.

I had my trailer with me, roped up the mule to move him to the trailer, but the darn thing wouldn't budge. I grabbed the birds so they would not get away and went to talk to the farmer's wife about the mule. She had gone inside to prepare lunch.

When she came to the door I explained about the mule being stubborn, she said he was as gentle as a lamb and will move if you scratch him behind the ear. So I said to her...

Would you hold my cock and pullet while I scratch my ass?

Beautiful, my understanding is they make the best studs for breeding mules.
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Alfred Tennyson', 'W')e are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.
