Breath into a paper bag, go back to your doctor and ask for a higher dose of Zyprexa. Your schizoaffective personailty disorder is acting up.
On the other hand, plant a garden and get out of debt. Longstanding rules for any hard time.

I don't think it takes the bible to tell us that, these days, nowhere's safe for your money apart from the mattress. The fall out from that dire state of affairs? Who knows what the consequences will.

However, I'm less inclined to give the ruling elite credit for any decisive action let alone conspiratorial stuff. I mean, if these dwangs had the stupidity to create a boom based on selling mortgages to the unemployed....I mean, c'mon guys. Is that stupid or is that STUPID. Why the fcuk do we let these sweet talking card sharks into management and government? Can't we like set a basic IQ test for these fuckwits before letting them near our hard earned savings?

Not safe under your mattress either. Bernake decides to crank up the helicopter again, and he can steal it from under your mattress with inflation pretty quickly.

It goes way beyond the sub-prime mess. They could bail that out with 50 billion.

I highly recommend keeping some cash at home. Two to three months worth. If the guy is wrong then just put it back in the bank a few months down the road. Nobody is saying you should buy or commit to something.

Plus if people can't get cash you might have some real purchasing power.

This is from Jim Willie, a very good contributor to Financialsense.com

http://www.financialsense.com/fsu/edito ... /1002.html

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'T')his from a friend in Atlanta with strong banking connections: “Reliable word that Bank of America branch managers just received a letter or memo from the USFed instructing them to perhaps be ready for a one-week universal shut-down of the banking system, including access to checking accounts, savings accounts and credit cards. Reliable word has it that BofA bank branches received a shipment of signs last week, reading “WE'RE SORRY, BUT DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL, WE CANNOT BE OPEN AT THIS TIME.”

Agreed. But you have to admit that these "experts' have messed up big time with their slicey and dicey securitising of bad loans, trading insurance policies for bad loans (lol, now thats one stupid scam), creating a false boom on the backs of mortgages that had sell by dates. That is so dumb. How can these guys stand there with a straight face and do an Oliver on us!

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Armageddon', 'R')eligious people are going to put their own religious twist on the crises

No doubt it will be good entertainment!

From what I understand the impending End of Days theme pushed by fundamentalist Christians is in reality based on the end of the astrological age and the precession of the equinoxes. Jesus like so many before him, are just solar deities wrapped in a religion that can predict the night skys and influence large populations of people?

The meat of the prediction is plausible, there is strong evidence available to anyone with time and an internet connection to prove almost beyond a doubt this bubble and crash has been engineered by people who have the power to do it.

Ironic that this supposedly devote Christian is not even aware what Jesus thought of the money changers who now have him fearing for his life.

There is a much more credible source regarding Bank Holidays in today's Oildrum Drumbeat (Thursday, Oct 2). It was posted by our own Leanan somewhere down in the comments section.

So does the passage of the esteemed Bailout Bill negate the OP?

Nothing to worry about any more since Super George and his cronies saved the day right?

What a pile of freshly-dropped horse manure.

Arm, I have to ask again:

Is there anything you DON'T believe in?

LOL, the tooth fairy ? On a serious note, without the religious undertone, there are some credibile warnings in there.

Zardoz, I am a firm believer in the central banking cartel that have a NWO agenda. These people are the ruling elite such as the Rothschilds, Rockellers, Warburgs, Chase's, Stanley's to name only a few. They are ones who orchestrated 911 and are gearing up for a one world government. David Rockefeller has admitted this. These people control the media, new papers, school books, radio, tv and every source of info with the exception a few alternative sources. Thomas Jefferson and many other early great thinkers warned of these people.

Arm, are you even following the financial news? Global financial meltdown is not going to lead to a One World Government. The idea is absolutely ludicrous. Within weeks the EU is going to be frantically scrambling to try to restore National Governments again and probably failing in the growing chaos. This is a rapidly growing global crisis. Call 9 11, the world is having a heart attack!!
