$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('careinke', '
')I have to say, the latest Gaza move completely surprised me. It was like that totally unexpected Go move by AI a few years ago, that ended up winning the game. I actually hope he succeeds, but I'm certainly not holding my breath over it. The world is broken and needs to be fixed. We can do it, or nature will do it for/to us.
Hopefully Peace
There is a wide belief in Poland (and I also subscribe to it) that Israeli lobby in US is so powerful that American government is making decisions to pursue Israeli interests even if these decisions are detrimental to objective American interests.
In this sense America is not really a sovereign entity.
Trump's declaration in this context can be seen as a declaration of obedience to Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyaho.
There is a competition between Democrats and Republicans to demonstrate who is more pro-Israeli, eg a sort of ass licking competition.
I have to admit that Musk does not fit well into this picture but this is an aberration. Didn't make my mind about his role yet.
