in the summer GM had record sales due to their employee discount scheme
really they were giving cars away. Everyone who was thinking about buying a car probably bought one over the summer. Its only common sense, you cant expect people to just keep buying them.

Yes but I'm sure the Big 3 will see through the rose colored window pane in their stomachs and optimistically announce the new Rommel line of SUV's with extra cup holders and IPOD mount will revive Detroit again. Wait... are there any more factories in Detroit?
