Now, I admit that I like my performance cars, however, I have also done my homework on global warming and have realised that it is one of the biggest problems ever faced by our race. I also drive a 4 cylinder shitbox, while the ute is now reserved for what it does best, load carrying. That aside, many performance car drivers are a funny lot when it comes to things that might mitigate their pride and joy, thread in point:

Read post number 1 that started it all.
Quite amazing really.
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', '
')I like the cut of your jib i also think about things like this and if you are just like me you would of made this thread to try and get people to stop looking at little problems and focus on the better things like why are we at war and a cure for things that we are really dieing from like CANCER! anyway my 2c
That came right after it. I think cancer is going to be the least of your problems mate.....
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', '
')Mate I wasn't acutally leaning that way, but that is an even better point.
Why are we wasting millions of dolalrs on this?
We ahve problems we know exist in this country and the world:
Cancer, australian kids still going hungry at night, surely before we go out and attempt to become saviours for the planet either through non essential research into global warming or by funding other countries interests, it is perhaps fitting that we, in the words of another, "fix up our own $$$$ing back yard first"?
Yep, non-essential. Right.....
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', '
')you also have to think taht what is happening whether its global warming or not is not just affecting human's its affecting every otehr living thing out there,
and since we are the superior beings on this planet it is our responsibility to preserver it all.now im glad its all being brought up now, awareness is better then ignorance on this one as this IF it is a problem should be fixed up now instead of when it is to late as there is no over night solution on this one.
I do admire the fact that he is one of the rare few in the thread to at least preach a little caution regarding the topic, however, he has obviously never heard of the prokaryote.......
