Natural gas vehicles: Government of Canada increases funding for conversion systems

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'P')ublic release date: 27-Jul-2005
OTTAWA -- Today, the Government of Canada announced the extension of the Natural Gas for Vehicles Market Transformation Pilot Project. The additional $1.855 million, provided by Natural Resources Canada (NRCan), will help promote the use of natural gas in the commercial-fleet sector across Canada. Under the extended project, fleet owners may now receive up to $3,000 toward the installation of an advanced natural-gas vehicle (NGV) conversion system. This will allow them to operate standard gasoline vehicles on natural gas using approved technology through certified conversion facilities. This project is being implemented by the Canadian Natural Gas Vehicle Alliance (CNGVA).

These people are smoking crack!! Have they not heard of the North American gas situation. They want to make us dependent on natural gas for vehicles as well.
For ionizing radiation “…the human epidemiological evidence establishes—by any reasonable standard of proof—that there is no safe dose or dose-rate…the safe-dose hypothesis is not merely implausible—it is disproven.” Dr. J.W. Gofman 4

NG is pushed as the clean alternative to wood burning up here to this day. Hell even the electric company recommends NG for heating purposes.

We just recently had a NG powerplant project cancelled but not due to peak NG but instead due to the projects costs.

Everyone here is clueless about NG and don't start thinking about it until their bills are super high in the winter.
shame on us, doomed from the start
god have mercy on our dirty little hearts

There are other sources of natural gas.
CBM is one of them.
(Not that CBM can't cause damage to the environment, but it exists nonetheless)
