Butylfuel bacteria + fossil fuel eating bacteria-

What if you were to combined Butylfuel bacteria + fossil fuel eating bacteria?

If the bacteria fermented deep coal reserves with negative EROEI and produced butanol(a possible substitute for gasoline, without requiring infrastructure change) then you could produce liquid fuel from deep coal or tar sands reserves as a gasoline source.

Also, deep sea coal reserves/too much pressure for humans to work/survive could act as recepients for this form of secondary recovery.

You would need to fertilize it with iron, phosphorous and sulfur and other elements required for the growth to occur.

Anyways, what do you think?

NOTE: This is through genetic engineering. I don't mean them working together I mean combining genetic characteristics from both of them.

What happens when your super bacteria gets loose in the environment and attacks exposed coal seems scattered all through the mountains of Applachia and elsewhere, plus attacking the coal face in open pit mines? Especially considering the Butynol will evaporate into the air at the face and create a really explosive mixture with the air.

Seems like a desperate attempt doomed to failure to me.
