Book: "Walden" by Thoreau

Unread postby TheSupplyGuy » Thu 27 May 2004, 09:18:00

I have just started reading this book and it seems to me that I would recommend it to anyone who wants to learn how to live a sufficient life without oil(it was written in 1847 or so). However, it doesn't have to deal with the social implications of oil(which may cause more of a panic than the actual problem itself) but I find it be a good book for those who like philosophy and those who want to read about how this man lived in the woods beside Walden Pond for 2 years.

I always meant to read it, but I never have. I'm going to order it from Amazon today. :)
