How about this; I haven't been doin' sh*t lately, I feel so lazy, I have flats of fall tomatoes and cukes and broccoli to plant. I got carrot, onion, arugula, spinach and mesclun seed to plant. I got more of the never-ending floor tile job to do. I need to prep beds for all this plus potatos, and I been slacking off big-time. Reading and reading and surfing and surfing. I feel worthless. And to top it off the weather has been freakin' perfect around here lately, and I sit and read and tap away like some kind of spider/vampire who can't go out into the sunlight. How's that for conversation?
Perhaps the population would be less swayed to socialism if we had fewer examples of socialism from our "Free Market Capitalists". -----fiddler dave

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('jboogy', ' ')I mean I'm sure you are all aware Obama was 8 YEARS OLD in 1970 when all this stuff happened. Or maybe Obama did know Ayers back then and was involved in the bombings! Jeezum crow Batman, I guess it's possible, I mean after all, Obama is a darky, maybe even a secret Muslim darky!!!!!! 8O Nader for PRES!!!

For some wierd reason the Obama campaign and Obama himself are pretending Obama had nothing to do with Ayers.

Back in the real world Obama worked for Ayers for several years in 1990s, when he was no longer 8 years old, as the administrator of a multi-million dollar Annenburg education grant.

So he worked with him spending Annenbergs money on educating poor kids.......your point? Oh wait, how silly of me, it's Plantain, so the point is never expressed, it's hinted at with vague innuendo.

Give me something meaty to debunk Plantain, this stuff is almost too pointless to even argue.

Nader for PREZ!!!!!

Yeah pretty much. Depending on where we get our news, we know more bad stuff about the "other guy" so we rip on the other guy and every one they ever knew.

What else would we talk about?

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('PenultimateManStanding', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('jboogy', 'W')hy all the talk about Ayers?
It's just some bullcrap to talk about.

Too late booger... your claim that Obama had nothing to do with Ayers has already been debunked.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('PenultimateManStanding', 'D')o you have some links or knowledge about the Weathermen I should know about?

Yes. You might want to start with The Way the Wind Blew by Ron Jacobs. It's a quick read. Outlaws of America by Dan Berger is much more thorough, but takes a while to dig through.
"We were standing on the edges
Of a thousand burning bridges
Sifting through the ashes every day
What we thought would never end
Now is nothing more than a memory
The way things were before
I lost my way" - OCMS

Bill Ayer's case is the latest example of an old, familiar story.....

Rich privileged white kids with trust funds become communist revolutionaries to show disdain for their wealthy parents

After growing up, they inherit the wealth and become members of the establishment, just like their parents. 8)
