I was just curious, I realize I speak out of my ass sometimes, but it seems to me that a serious case of dementia / schizophrenia has taken over the board.
I think I am going to take a break for awhile and go hang out at a few other forums where most of the people are babbling on about the 7 sided figure of the state of devil or whatever wacky shit that gets discussed
I will be back when we invade Iran.

Sustaining a presence in the mid east is most critical to prevent WWIII. They really need a stable democracy and whatever means necessary to ensure the right kind of democracy will be used.

Lots of wackos. It's like anything else, though. There's a couple of people that have something interesting to say, lots of "me too," and then you have people that use the internet to replace face to face real live interaction.
And then of course you have the ones that are absolutely orgasmic about the end of civilization and a new dark age, and who think that their ability to grow tomatoes is going to make them into Gods. (What did serfs do for the last thousand years?)
I would keep an eye out on those that worship failure and aim for it as though it was a worthy goal to reach. It's very strange, I think.
