Peak food?

I dunno. I'm off to find out which era this species belonged to, and what happened to that era, but if I were to lose patience doing so, I find myself (nowadays) applying the answer "Peak-<anything>" to the problem and viola! QED for awhile.

Anyone face the same situation?
