Funny here on the internet, which as KJ infers, we have the most anonymity – that one should apologize.
I used to have hope that this would be the ultimate publisher of individual ideas.
Naw, a message board is the ultimate isolator; moreso than even one's commute cocoon where giving the finger is a sign of testosterone…
albeit shielded in steel and safety glass and throttle.
Why not pratice being civil in the first instance so as to not have need to appoligize by denigrating those that disagree and pressing your opinion until capitulation or in the final instance at least agreeing on differing views?
Naw, don’t have to; I have a screen name and no one knows where I live.
Maybe act as if you are in a flesh and blood social situation and not on talk radio?
Naw…
Don't apologize, don't explain.
Quiet, dont explain
What is there to gain
Skip that lipstick
Dont explain
-- Billie Holiday
The legitimate object of government, is to do for a community of people, whatever they need to have done, but can not do, at all, or can not, so well do, for themselves -- in their separate, and individual capacities.
-- Abraham Lincoln, Fragment on Government (July 1, 1854)
