The Koch brothers and their billions support the pipeline so RepubliCONS line up to support it.

As did President Obama when he instructed all gov’t departments to expedite the completion of the southern leg of the Keystone XL Pipeline. That section began flowing last January. By connecting to the existing Keystone Pipeline, which has been transporting 600,000 bbls per day of oil sands production across the US/Canadian border since Oct 2010, it eliminated the immediate need for the border crossing section of Keystone XL. So thanks to the continued support of the Koch boys and the POTUS the Canadian oil has a direct route to move 600,000 bopd to Texas refineries. And in the process bypasses the major choke point at Cushing, OK which had been inhibited future oil sands development. Now Canadian oil sands developers should see improved economics.
Well played misters Koch and Obama: while successfully diverting attention with the border permit almost no one (except the Rockman, of course) noticed your clever plan. Who says you can’t sometimes fool all the people all the time. LOL. And to think the diversionary plan was aided by environmental groups more than anyone else. And that didn’t cost the Koch boys one penny.

“Realpolitik” my friend Rock! I will say this for Obama he is a political animal. You can tell he loves the game because of his passion for the series “House of Cards”. Obama is a champion of the poor on the surface but his actions are in the end in support of the political system of the revolving door or industry, lobbyist, and politicians in the game of connections, patronage, and wealth preservation. Obama throws a few bones to the poor but not much else.

Davy – As I’ve said before IMHO all our political leaders, R and D, are cut from the same cloth. Yes…some differences on social issues. But they are all “political animals” or they wouldn’t be where they are. Just some, like President Obama, are smarter about the process the others. Like our pseudo Texan President Bush. LOL.

Davy and rockman — I guess you guys know my point of view. The politicians that we elect to play their various roles on the political stage are really nothing more than tools for the real decision-makers.
This whole democracy thing, including all the elections on the national and probably state levels to some extent, is just a charade meant to give “the people” the illusion of self-government — “of the people, by the people, for the people”.
Behind the scenes, hidden behind the curtain, are the real decision-makers. They are called “TPTB” by some, but recently I came across a couple of articles that describe “TPTB” in more precise terms — the “Deep State”.
If you take the time to read one or both of these articles, notice that the “Deep State” (TPTB) are primarily composed of military, industrial and national security top-level players. Politicians, corporate heads, bankers and financial elite are mere tools in the hands of the “Deep State”.
While I completely disagree with some of what these two articles attribute to the Deep State, I do not doubt that the Deep State is real and pretty close to exactly as described in terms of make up and final authority. Politicians pretend that they are in charge, but in reality, they are just puppets on strings with members of the Deep State hiding behind the curtain, doing ventriloquist acts — what we hear coming out of the politician’s mouth is nothing more than what he is required to say, in so many cases.

N/R what can we expect in the state of Peak everything? In Peak Everything you also have Peak entropy. Is not corruption and manipulation the highest form of entropy of the human spirit?

Give the definition of entropy from Mirriam-Webster: a process of degradation or running down or a trend to disorder
Looks like the answer to your question is “yes”.
When a combination of greed and desperation combines with utter denial of reality, then all that remains is for full-blown entropy to run its course. Kind of like, where we are right now, somewhere on that ride down the entropy slope that is leading toward total oblivion.

Lmao, nice! Freakin tv commercials are so stupid, and so are the people influenced by them. These zombies don’t even realize they’re being influenced because theres nothing going on up there, always someone else doing thinking for them while they keep their brain turned off allowing crap like that to sink in unnoticed. We need more stuff like this about all the big corps, it really has an impact. The human brain entropy has been steadily increasing for a couple thousand years to the point of multitudes who are absolutely retarded.
