Former Planned Parenthood exec praises China’s ‘one-child’ policy

Enviroment

On Tuesday, a former Executive Vice President of Planned Parenthood World Population in Los Angeles praised China’s “one child” policy in a letter to the editor of the Napa Valley Register Newspaper.

Offering his support for the Obama administration’s recent decision to cover birth control and drugs that can cause abortion, Norman Fleishman condemned the world’s population growth. “Unless we act (this legislation, along with China’s ‘one child’ policy, is a start), the world is doomed to strangle among coils of pitiless exponential growth,” he wrote.

In an interview with LifeSiteNews (LSN), Population Research Institute President Steven Mosher explained the importance of Fleishman’s letter. Mosher said, “Planned Parenthood sees people principally as consumers, who are ransacking the planet for increasingly scarce resources. Babies it regards as a particular burden, to be eliminated whenever and wherever possible.”

“We at PRI have a more sanguine view,” he explained. “We see babies as a blessing, knowing that every stomach comes with two hands attached, and every mouth is backed by a creative intelligence. That is to say, we see people as producers, who want to make the world a better place for themselves and their children.”

“And throughout human history, they have,” he added.

“As an eyewitness to forced abortions and sterilizations in China, I am appalled that any civilized person—regardless of his views on abortion—would endorse the very policy that produces such abuses,” Mosher said. “I am not really surprised, however.  The International Planned Parenthood’s Federation’s arrival in China in mid-1979 coincided with the beginning of my own on-the-ground research there.  It only took me a short time to realize that the one-child policy was an unmitigated disaster for China’s families, women, and babies, a fact which Planned Parenthood and its leaders have still not grasped 32 years later.”

Adding to Mosher’s insight, Women’s Rights Without Frontiers President Reggie Littlejohn told LSN, “China’s One Child Policy causes more violence to women and girls than any other official policy on earth.”

“It is China’s war on women,” she explained. “It is enforced through forced abortion, forced sterilization and infanticide.”

Maybe China’s one child policy was enacted brutally, but it doesn’t change the fact that humans are overpopulating the Earth to a degree that is suicidal, and something needs to be done to stop it. The options are the natural ones of war or disease, or we can take a managed approach to depopulation. I prefer the latter method.

“That is to say, we see people as producers,”

That is to say, we’re delusional.

The world is overpopulated by a factor of 10. How do these people plan to deal with it? They have no plan; just make more babies and everything will be fine. We now need to reduce our numbers by every means we have. If society doesn’t want to do it in an orderly manner then Nature will through disease and starvation. Humans will then finish us off through war. Wake up World! Quit being stupid.

Bringing a child into the world that you can not afford to feed and take care of both financially and emotionally is distressing. With all the starving people in the world it seems that those with the least are having the most children.
