China’s population will peak in 2029 at 1.44 billion before beginning a period of “unstoppable” decline, a government report said.
The study by China Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) warned that the country must implement policies to handle a smaller workforce and an older population, the BBC reported on Sunday.
Both changes combined — long-term population decline and a continuously ageing population — could cause “very unfavourable social and economic consequences”, the report said.
In 2015 the world’s most populous country ended its one-child policy in a bid to tackle the problems.
According to latest UN estimates, China has a population of 1.41 billion.
The study, appearing in CASS’s Green Book of Population and Labour, said that working population numbers were now stagnating, with a low fertility rate set to cause further issues.
By the middle of the century, China’s population is expected to drop to 1.36 billion – a fall in the labour force of close to 200 million.
The study also predicted a rise in the dependency rate (increase in the proportion of non-working people like the elderly and the children).
While relaxing the one-child policy will help long-term, in the short-term it will create more dependents, according to the report.

The only “trustworthiness” claim is by Google, a poor rating agency with security problems of it’s own.
As for China’s “problems”, look in the mirror America. At least China recognizes the problem and will provide for it in the future. The only “cure” for the same ongoing problem in the US is IMMIGRATION! Lots of immigration! Ten years is almost forever in today’s world.

China has had a magic two decades but now consequences are a bitch. China is facing overpopulation converted into regional mega cities just when peak everything is hitting. China’s economy is in decline and will not be able to support this increasing consumption and unsustainable living arrangements. Many of its banks are insolvent except for state backing. Many businesses are zombie except for bank support and exotic lending arrangements which are just Ponzi arrangement. The whole Chinese economy is a house of cards except for the party control that glues it all together.
China was once a model of a large population country living more sustainable but now is just the opposite. I remember being fascinated with how Chinese used bikes in their cities. The country side was poor but agriculturally productive. Now China is the worst of all cases with a very large population adopting western cultural affluence. The country is at peak oil, water, and soil. It has spent a massive amount on physical development that is significantly malinvested. This is per the normal warped mainstream commentators infatuated with development who discuss highways to nowhere and ghost cities. The rapid construction of high rises and unlived in apartment flats used as investment vehicles. Huge redundant industrial capacity that allowed this massive build up. If you look at investments with the understanding of the collapse process then you see China as the premier example of a country that has invested everything it has in a way of life with no future and gutted its environment in the process, gutted the planet too. China is the most polluted major country in the world. The pollution is off the charts by all measures from water, land, and to air. Its population is stratifying into have’s and have nots. It is seeing the have’s leave the country with capital flight investing their ill-gotten gains in high price western real estate. The state is pushing a belt road initiative that is just more state sponsored malinvestment in countries already near debt traps. China now is pushing them into deals where they are losing sovereignty of their best economic resources. Of course this will not last because if they were not meeting economic targets then what do you think will happen when the global economy slows down as it is. China is financing this shit and guess what with a significant amount of dollar debt. China is going to have a global supply of non-performing assets to go along with many of its homegrown variety of business and banks. China has now decided to militarize. It is spending huge amounts of money on its military. Nothing is more malinvested than militarization. The US and Russia are the worst but now China again is joining the parade. Ye Ha, more weapons of mass destruction. Just more of what the world needs.
All of this is just what the planet needed to break its back. Yea, the west set up the destruction but China finished it and if that wasn’t bad enough what happens in China does not stay in China. China is slowly collapsing and it will take the rest of the world down with it. No, China likely will not just come apart. This will be a process and the global economy will not escape its effects. China has been the global credit driver for 20 years and now that is over. Now the global economy just lost two cylinders. This deflationary development will thrust a vast stagnation of inflation and deflation on to the world. The worst of all worlds is ahead over time in a slow death of the way of life as we know it.
I can’t blame the Chinese. The west started this shit and even promoted China to do this. Westerners made a lot of their fat cats even wealthier and in the process created Asian fat cats who now are approaching western numbers. The Chinese have every right to destroy the world too just like The US and Europe have done before them. So we are all to blame but those Sinophiles who talk so lovingly of China are full of shit. The reason they do this is because they are grasping for any nation that can destroy the US and it’s so called Empire. They ignore any bad out of China. It is all bad in the US per these extremist and all good in China. Watch what you wish for dumbasses.

What do you get when you mix economic uncertainty with military uncertainty and the end of an era?
“Hypersonic Weapons Pose “Significant Challenge To World Peace”
https://tinyurl.com/yam8kdg8
“With the imminent deployment of hypersonic weapons capable of 20,000 mph will present significant arms control “challenges” as the world moves further into a new and unsettling geopolitical phase, a defense expert has warned. The issue was also mentioned by the International Institute for Strategic Studies’ (IISS) Strategic Survey 2018 report, edited by Dr. Nicholas Redman and published in November. It warned that a hypersonic missile traveling at the speed Putin claimed (20,000 mph) would be capable of striking London – about 1,500 miles away from Moscow – in less than five minutes. Speaking to Express.co.uk, IISS’s senior fellow for military aerospace Douglas Barrie said he was skeptical Putin would be able to deploy his system this year. But he said: “Hypersonic glide vehicles and hypersonic cruise missiles are still only in development – although operational deployment of hypersonic glide vehicles may be only a couple of years away.” “These weapons won’t change the way war is waged – but they will cut down on the time taken to get to a target, and the decision time for any attempt to engage or otherwise respond.”
“In the IISS’s Strategic Survey last year, the think tank’s director-general Dr. John Chipman warned that Russia and China were waging a parallel campaign of “tolerance warfare” against the West. Chipman explained: “Tolerance warfare is the effort to push back lines of resistance, probe weaknesses, assert rights unilaterally, break rules, establish new facts on the ground, strip others of initiative and gain systematic advantage over hesitant opponents.” “It particularly exploits weaknesses in Western democracies whose instincts for statecraft have been tempered by geopolitical failure abroad and constraints imposed by domestic opinion on hard-power international deployment,” he added. “It is becoming a favored strategy for those countries that cannot easily challenge their biggest rivals symmetrically.” “Most obviously, President Vladimir Putin’s Russia is seeking asymmetrically to gain advantage in its weakened position by regular use of tolerance-warfare stratagems.” Hypersonic weapons have moved the world into a new and unsettling geopolitical phase. It is not just a unipolar world, but now, more of a multipolar distribution of power, thanks to rising military forces in Russia and China. The so-called New World Order and Washington Consensus thinking is deteriorating. This creates new risks and uncertainties: rising military tensions, economic disruptions, and destabilizing feedback loops between changing international relations and countries’ domestic political conditions. Hypersonic technologies are in the beginning stages of allowing countries to break free from the New World Order and Washington control, the world is evolving, and in this transition phase, the world is going to get a whole lot more dangerous.”

“Hypersonic Weapons Pose “Significant Challenge To World Peace”
Get ready for the next logical stage of warfare – orbital weapon systems. These will be employed as first strike weapons and as defence against hypersonic weapons. Now that hypersonic weaponry is in serious development, orbital weapons are a practical inevitability. Highly illegal under the outer space treaty, but it will happen anyway.

“While relaxing the one-child policy will help long-term, in the short-term it will create more dependents, according to the report.”
This is a really bad article. It is quite likely that China’s population stopped growing last year. It is also possible that India is already the most populous country on Earth.
The article’s conclusion is exactly the opposite of what actually happened. The changes made to China’s population program in 2015 led to a small population bump in 2016 and 2017, caused by people having previously unauthorized second childs, which was fully reversed in 2018. The decline in births from 2017 to 2018 was higher than 15%. This led to the first Chinese population decline in my life. Based on this very minor effect in the policy’s change I expect China to completely scrap its population policy in the future since it is no longer necessary.

WTF?
Obeying the law is difficult when everything is illegal.
Americans are no better than beasts and slaves now that the US is a police state. Tyranny turns people into animals.
The government tells Americans what to wear, what to eat, what to buy, what to do, and what to think.
Law is not justice.
The government destroy lives. What if a genius researching cancer cures was arrested for withdrawing less than $10,000 from his own bank account and then couldn’t get a job because he has an arrest record?
Americans who love the Gestapo today seem like rape victims who defend their rapists.
Do Americans feel like traitors when they support tyranny?
Do Americans think tyranny only affects other people? Do Americans believe that freedom only benefits others?
What country is this?
