Our goal is to help as many people as possible become aware of the disaster we are rapidly approaching with the end of cheap resources. In our opinion, the wealth of most Americans could get wiped out during the next decade due to commodity inflation. Focusing on your real purchasing power, altering your lifestyle, and investing in the future is an opportunity that you just can’t afford to miss.
http://PeakResources.org is helping our members seize the moment, with great challenges come great opportunities. The education you receive today and the decisions you make, will define what type of lifestyle you and your family will have for the rest of your life!

Too many people and too few resources.
If you can not provide for yourself you can not provide for a child.
The poorest people in the world are having the most children locking them and their children into a life of poverty, hunger and despair.
Access to family planning services needs to be available to all that want it.
Over population is the elephant in the room. Every problem is made harder to solve with endless and unsustainable population growth.

Kenz,
You are correct, unfortunately the author is speaking about the country with the largest economy on this planet. As goes the US, so goes the world.

The US has an over population problem. The unemployment rate is over 7.8 % and the under employment rate is over 20%.
The US needs to tie its LEGAL immigration numbers to the unemployment rate. When the unemployment rate is over 6% we should let less people immigrate LEGALLY. WE the unemployment rate is under 6% we could let more people in.
The US Chamber of Commerce and big corporations love the H1B and H2B visa programs because they bring in cheap labor and drive wages down.
Every country, including the US, needs to develop a plan to balance its population with its resources, food, water, energy and jobs. Right now we have a jobs problem but in the future it looks like water may also become more of an issue in many places.
