I didn’t watch this, but every prepper should invest in a good library full of essential skills development, medical, nutritional, agricultural, scientific, woodcraft, and other useful manuals and books. As many as possible preferably in a flood and fire proof structure.

I disagree. There are plenty of people in the world who already have practical knowledge, Amish, former peace corps volunteers, off-the-gridders, or foreigners who could come to the USA from other nations to teach us all kinds of skills.
The loss of knowledge is much bigger and more serious:

energy, there may not be international travel in the future. If we self-destruct enough to lose our survival skills, there will not be enough of us left to care.
You assume that anyone outside the US would care if Americans lived or died. That number is already shrinking fast.
As for education, yes, that is important and a well stocked library is a plus. Be sure to put in books on learning the language they are written in so future generations can be taught to read and will be able to use them.

When the Roman civilization collapsed, didn’t the knowledge of how to make concrete get lost? It is possible to lose such knowledge again.
