We had an oil embargo in the 1970’s. There were long gas lines, high prices and rationing. That is the future when oil demand world wide begins to exceed the supply. Not a pleasant future to contemplate. Transportation fuel for cars, trains, planes and ships all rely on oil. The world economy is not prepared. Any alternative will begin look to good if that happens.
