‘Eco’ friendly fuel breakthrough -safe hydrogen gas tank

The latest breakthrough involves injecting Hygrogen gas at high pressure into tiny pores which act as a ’sponge’.
The key is to use porous materials containing holes a hundred thousand times smaller than the thickness of a piece of paper.
Pressure within the material is then reduced preventing the risk of the gas exploding.
