What’s the picture of the window with the pretty blue glow? I bet it’s the burner view hole on somebody’s propane water tank. LOL Fusion never did work and never will.

IF you want to talk about reactors that work, check out “Lead-Cooled Reactor” on wikipedia. These have been built and they work. The operating temp range is about 350C – 850C. They have never been built to run at 850C but a reactor at that temp can produce hydrogen t industrial quantities for making synthetic hydrocarbon fuels. THAT is something that could be up and running in less than 10 years.

IF you don’t insist on the hydrogen production, read the Wikipedia page on CANDU reactors, long read.

CANDU reactors have some very interesting qualities
including you don’t have to enrich the fuel. You
can run it in natural uranium that comes straight
from the ground. You can also run it on Thorium and
most amazing you can stick old fuel rods from
standard crappy awful standard reactors and they
can be burnt up in the CANDU reactor.

Note that BOTH of these designs are extremely
reliable, they don’t melt down, and they run on
oddball fuels like Thorium, depleted uranium, old
“waste” fuel rods (LOL bury them? why? they are fuel. you would only bury them if you are a dumbass

too stupid to add 2+2.
