It will take an all of the above energy strategy to deal with the decline of cheap oil to fuel the global economy.

Oil inflation means inflation in everything we purchase. From food production to the delivery, everything travels on a plane, ship, truck or car to get to its destinations and they are all powered by oil.

Every country needs to develop a plan to diversify it energy sources and types and become more self sufficient.

Wind, solar, wave energy, geothermal and second generation biofuels made from algae, cellulose and waste will all become a bigger part of the energy mix.

Walking, riding your bicycle and taking mass transit will also become more common. Not too long ago children walked or rode bicycles to school. Now they are chauffeured by their parents. As the price of oil continues to rise we will all begin to change our use of energy. Some will change willingly and others will go kicking and screaming into the future.

Oil isnt inflating, the currency is deflating. Buying power is falling causing prices to rise for all commodities. Any perceived shortages in this environment can cause upward moves that seem even worse than they are.
