…Sigh…another H2 shill. And I like his incredulous sidekick too, his name must be Ididntknowthat. H2 is not an energy source, it takes more energy to make compress store and transport h2 than you will ever recover from burning it. Why would someone burn h2 to cook food for example, real safety conerns aside(which he dismisses somewhat casually), just use solar power to run you know…an electric oven. More efficent safer, and no pipes valves required. He drops NASA and fuel cells. Well sure they used them, what he doesnt bother to mention is the fuel cells NASA used cost millions a piece and got used once, then were discarded. When you can afford a billion a pop for a launch, a few million for fuels cells is litterally, pennies on the dollar. His buddy wonders why we dont all use hydrogen instead of oil, well, oil has been very plentiful, cheap to get at and easy to use and transport, all its other failings excepted. Again, you dont need to a science major to grasp the idea that free h2 simply does not exist anywhere on earth. There are no Saudi Arabias of hydrogen for the US to invade,er make safe for democracy. If there were, in all probability Operation Enduring Hydrogen would have been launched long ago. H2 is fine, as long as your willing to tolerate the fact its an energy sink and not an energy source.
