Maybe Africa can leap frog the West in some ways. Distributed AltE could be a great success. Success will depend on population control. There is no hope for Africa with the population increases in the pipeline!

Unsustainable population growth is outpacing any solution to the problems of poverty, food, water, unemployment and energy. Overpopulation is the worlds worst environmental problem.
Wind and solar are growing in use around the world due to falling prices.
Fossil fuels are getting more expensive every year.
The transition to safer, cleaner and cheaper alternative energy sources continues to grow.

Population will resolve itself.
Every time you hear talk about solving the population problem, it always ends up in the “FINAL SOLUTION.”
