Which Car Would More Likely Be Vandalized?

Unread postby PenultimateManStanding » Thu 23 Nov 2006, 13:21:14

So here's the question: a Volvo has bumper stickers saying "Save The Rainforests" "Impeach Bush" "No Blood For Oil" "My Other Car Is A Broom"; a Chevy or a Ford sedan has bumper stickers saying "NRA Supporter" "Win In Iraq", "Don't Cut and Run" or this one I just made up for the occassion: "No, Blood IS Oil". Which car is more likely to get vandalized while parked and the owner is elsewhere?

I guess that would depend on whether the car was parked in New York or Houston.

If you really wanted to split the difference, wouldn't you park it somewhere in Ohio or something? :-D

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Dreamtwister', 'I')f you really wanted to split the difference, wouldn't you park it somewhere in Ohio or something? :-D
I don't know about Ohio, but Austin is a blue town in a red state. I suppose it would depend on how close to the University the car was parked. But let's not nit pick! The question is which side is more likely to peevishly and surreptitiously key the paint on the offending car.

Definitely the tree-hugger's car.

Why?

Because the tree-huggers don't have the guts to vandalize an NRA member's car.

I bet you weren't expecting that answer...

Vandalized car would be the one left in crap area (Houston or NY - irrelevant).
If they are parked one naxt to another - the better looking one would be vandalized.
If one of them is from "enemy" or "guest" location, it would be vandalised more likely.

Yeah, I think that would be the right answer. Plus, the hypocrisy would drive people even more. CARS AREN'T ENVIRO-FRIENDLY. Unless if you fun on a wheel which spins a turbine which charges up your electric car, that is. But how often does that happen?
