In the UK, the 2003 Energy White Paper the government set out its goals and long-term framework for energy policy. The DTI has launched an Energy Review to assess progress against these goals and the options for further steps to achieve them. The Review has a broad scope and will consider aspects of both energy supply and demand focussing on policy measures for the medium and long term'.

I am interested in making a response to this - to that end, has anyone got info/material that sets out the WORLD energy challenge - growth in demand for all energy and the way it can be met - nuclear. coal, oil, gas etc. This seems to be the place to start. Peak Oil is one of the factors that should influence the UK's strategy.
