If we can get a $7500 tax rebate on it, that sweetens the deal considerably. I haven't seen cars rated by kilowatt hours before, though. It seems to come out of some definition from some electrical engineering association.

I'm not sure if NEVs or electric motorcycles are covered... A $3k Zenn would be an instant hit, but I doubt it's covered.

The text is here, and I can't find anything that excludes smaller EVs like electric motorcycles and NEVs, but it just seems like there would be too many NEVs w/ 4+kWh packs going 50-75% off. If anything I suppose the best bet would be to get legal counsel before hand to see if it's viable, and if it is, go for it. I bet the peple high up on Aptera's waiting list are having a ball. $22k for an electric two seater that'll go 120 miles per charge isn't too shabby, and it based on their hiring it looks like they're gearing up for production.
