I just started reading Bad Money: Reckless Finance, Failed Politics, and the Global Crisis of American Capitalism, by Kevin Philips (2008). So far this is an excellent book, and like his previous book, American Theocracy, Philips deals with the issue of Peak Oil, but in his latest book he explores this issue more deeply.



I have more to say about this book, but so far I find it quite informative...

Could you describe briefly how he sees peak oil integrating into the greater scheme of things? Does his take on this issue diverge with your own, or is it sympatico with your understanding?
