Cashmere's New Fav. MP3 DL site . . .

Just wanted to do my part to spread the word on Amazon.com's MP3 section. I have always wanted to do my part to buy music rather than pirate it or rip it off youtube, but I was always too pissed off with the iTunes and such sites ridiculous copy prevention crap.

I am happy to say that I just purchased some music from Amazon - AWESOME experience. No copy issues - burned a CD for use in the car right after I downloaded the album - for 8 bucks! Sweet.
Anyway, you don't even have to download their software if you don't want - you can just buy one song and DL it straight.

Extremely happy. Time to end the retarded iTunes system.

It may be a bit more expensive, but I continue to support my local record store, House of Records, here in Eugene. I've been shopping there for about 25 years and I always get what I want. I still love to hold an album or cd in my hands and read the lyrics, check out the art, credits, etc....I've used iTunes a handful of times in the past few years, It's fairly easy to download the music and make a cd on the spot to give to friends or stick in the collection....the only thing I came up against is tossing the downloaded stuff on a flash drive and giving it to friends...that requires them to authorize their machine...I think you get 5 auths?

Punk is not really a style of music. It was more like a state of mind.

It may be a little more illegal, but I download all of my music. Until these artists starting acting more like role models then worthless debutantes, then I have no desire to seem them rewarded for their work.

Very little money from album sales actually makes it to the artists. Most of an singer/band's money comes from performances (concerts or otherwise).

There's no sugar coating it
The Studios steals from the artists
We steal from the Studios
The government steals from us
The banks steal from the government

The days of right and wrong are over. Now its everyone for themselves

btw, in Canada, downloading/uploading on P2P networks is not considered stealing and is legal (unless the rules have changed with the Security and Prosperity Proposal  )
