I bothered to watch several parts of this last night being broadcast from our local PBS station. Odd how Planted Agent was propping up the Pulitzer prize winning book "the looming towers" in the 911 speculation thread just prior to my viewing the Richard Perle segment which has a brief insert from Lawrence Wright.

Thats how it happens to me, like de ja vu er something.

One segment concerning our troops included a moving tribute and then a rant by Morpheus AKA Laurence Fishburne which basically reinforces the notion of "stay the course" as if we owe it to the fallen to stay in Iraq/afghanistan regardless of what we now know.

As if our government was to send a small band of troops into some country for all the wrong reasons and they were slain then we should just send more and stay the course regardless.

Some of you may be aware that Richarl perle is a member of PNAC.
PNAC WEBSITE and if you do not understand the significance of this FACT you are not wishing to.

I feel for our troops in Iraq and for the innocent Iraqis.
We hear daily how our troops as well as a disproportionate number of Iraqi's are being slain.
It hurts worse knowing what this war is about = Resources.

Many U.S. soldiers who made it home from vietnam (50,000+ did not) realized sooner or later just how senseless the whole thing was. I can only hope that those who return from the Iraq/afghan theatres will realize what this was all about and speak+act out.

This is just one of many anti war messages I wish to bring to the board. It is very relevant and has everything to do with PO, Resource war and the many other ramifications of PO.
This realization is one of the main factors we took into consideration when we chose to pursue ecovillage.

I just want people to realize whats going down and to speak out on it and I know alot of you F'er's know its true yet you say nothing....
I want people to realize that they must choose and choose wisely.
We are all either part of the problem or part of the solution.

Remain calm, focus and set karma into motion by doing with clear intent what must be done and saying with all the conviction one can muster what must be said!

Kudos to PBS for giving Richard Perle all the rope he needed to hang himself. His "The Case For War" segment, which was on last night, failed completely.

Is he really as much of a true believer in the Neocon ideology as he appears to be? I'm starting to think now that maybe he is. He could actually be that naive. He may go to his grave clinging to the vision of America as the global champion of freedom. It could well be that he actually thinks we're always the good guys.

Sure, its easy to write him off as a sinister liar of a front man who knows very well that it's all about oil, power, and money in our pockets, but what we saw last night makes me think that maybe he's as much of a tool as anybody.

I just watched the "Gangs of Iraq" and enough of the Richard Perle "Case for war" segment to make me puke.

I am going to keep looking for new segments but thats 5.5 hours of this shit and thats what it is shit and thats now how I see PBS, shit.

I do not know what they are calling it now adays but operation mockingbird was what it use to be called.

I was at the library today and looking at the new nonfiction, wow, most of it in this subject area was neocon propaganda, and this is what's at the library - a place something like 75% of Amurrikans don't go to because it's too "intellectual".
