Very good link! Loved this interview. Have read his book some time ago, dealing with all the stuff he talks about in the interview. But nothing beats hearing it from the guy in person.

His story gives another perspective on corporations and corporate rule, not equal but sort of paralelle to the conclutions from the book "The Corporation", wich basically analyzes from the outside how the large corporations by their very nature ( their legal structure and profit motive etc) has become the main evildooers of our time, threathning democracy freedom and human life all around the globe.

John Perkins on the other hand, as an "Economic Hit Man" sees it from the inside slightly James Bond style describing the same evil behaviour, but giving far more flesh to government/corporation-conspiracy to plunder the resources of the world.
In "The Corporation" the writers doesn't go as far as to describe corporate rule as a conspiracy, "The Economic Hitman" however gives the corporate/government crimes the "premeditated murder" charge, showing how the US army, the CIA and other instituions steps in forcing the corporate will violently whenever somebody tries to stand against them, typically when the economic hitmen had not been successfull.
Do read theese books. They complement each other perfectly.
