Enough resources to last 1,000 years?

Unread postby bobbyald » Wed 03 May 2006, 07:55:23

Well of course there are!

The mistake you are making is in believing that you and everyone else are included amongst those that will share in those essential resources. There doesn’t need to be enough for you, me, our children or anyone else, it only matters that there is enough resources for the special few. Those that have earned the right, those that are honest, intelligent, caring and far, far above us ordinary people in social standing. Gods almost.

Throughout history this how it has been. As resources get scarce we must ensure that those among us that must live on to produce the next generation have the essentials of life; Food, water, warmth and a large yacht moored in the Caribbean.

So who are these people? Whose genes must live on while our sub-standard genes are condemned to death?

Please join me in compiling a list of the elite who we would gladly die for…
(Clue: Often these people already hold positions of power and respect within our society and have large bank accounts to prove it)

I’ll start with the crème de la crème of the UK elite:

Tony Blair (British PM): For his honesty.
John Prescott (Deputy PM): Hard work, good looks & sexual prowess.
Jade Goody (Reality TV show winner): Intelligence.
All 5,374 UK TV weather forecasters: Essential.
Jordan (Model I think): Sophistication.
Chris Eubank (Boxer): Quick brain and impeccable style.
Tara Palmer Tomkinson (possibly almost a royal): All Royals are vital.
Peter Stringfellow (???): Just a great guy.
Life results from the non-random selection of randomly generated replicators

Some more general groups - not the richest, but certainly vital:

All local planning department staff : for their friendliness, flexibility, integrity & honesty

All police officers, magistrates & judges : for their unfailing dedication in sorting out minor crimes & applying appropriate sentences

All car clampers & travel wardens : for being key examples of politeness & friendliness

Hey, I have no complaints about the British police at all. But the legal system is specifically designed to muddy things, give random sentences for similar offences, and generally make sure that whatever punishment is finally chosen happens way too late to make any significant difference in the petty criminal's behaviour.

Have you ever needed the police for anything or is it that they've never bothered you?

They've never harrassed me, but they have never helped me with crimes that have happened to me, just not important enough and it wouldn't have raised any revenue.

Anyway, ALL accountants and solicitors for providing such vital services to the advancement of human kind.
