Weird.

The cholesterol drugs destroy your liver. The anti-depressants often lead to suicide. Now the osteoporosis drugs cause your bones to crack.

I read Brave New World, and I'm telling you Huxley could not have dreamt this stuff up.

Patients are rarely told all the scary dire possible side-effects of their medications.

I took one for awhile which had the rare side effect of causing the patient to suddenly die for no apparent reason. 8O

There are many people in my family who have lived into their late 90s and better than living, they had a good time and were active and strong into their early 90s.

The ONE characteristic I've observed in all of these people is that they did not take ANY drugs until they were in their 80s (when government mandate demands people become druggies).

All this talk about good attitudes and forgiveness and happy-happy-joy-joy ideals leading to long life gives me pause. I come from a long line of grouches and unhappy people and I've noticed that all these old people stayed *away* from drugs and stayed with-in 20 pounds of their ideal body weight and they didn't eat junk food.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('hope_full', '(')when government mandate demands people become druggies).

Which government mandate is that?
