nuclear/hydro utilities

Unread postby fossil_fuel » Tue 05 Jul 2005, 13:26:57

I'm looking in investing in publicly-traded electricity utilities who generate most of their electricity through nuclear/hydro. I believe they can benefit from increasing electricity costs without having to pay for increased coal/natural gas prices. Where could I figure out which utility companies generate their power this way?

I don't know if you can find such a utility... all of the bigger companies like Duke and Exelon that have nuclear plants and hydro also have fossil plants.

Are you really interested in utilities? If you like nuclear, why not look at something like USEC or Cameco?

You might like Norsk Hydro, a 100 year old company:
