i'm watchin this mad money w/ jim cramer right now...and he's going thru callers...and mentioned anything oil related as being a "sell" to him...iono bout this...

did i hear what i really think i hear? someone confirm this for me. this is effin great.

Going on the basis that if crude 'spikes' (ha ha) - it'd be disastrous for oil companies as their profits would decline. Thus, it is not good to invest in those oil-dependant companies.

... (At least, that's what that line of thinking goes.. I have no investments what so ever.)

How many companies depend on crude eh? And how many companies depend on those companies to make them stuff... Oh conundrum.

Right but how much would demand destruction really be?

I mean say prices triple, and demand drops 33% - not likely to drop even that far I think - anyways - triple price, 1/3 drop in demand = oil company still raking in profits...
