Rowan here. Sorry I didn't make the last meeting, but I down with pneumonia.

Anyway, I teach at Portland Community College and I have been checking with some of my colleagues about whether they would be interested in helping with a 2 day forum on peak oil - possibly next fall. There is interest at the college for pursuing something like this.

I was wondering if any of you would be interested in helping with coordination and planning.

My idea is for this to be a broad community event. Bringing together folks to do workshops, presentations/info from local and state government. Maybe outreach to the Neighborhood Associations.

The purpose would be two fold - provide information and share resources. Make that three - networking.
