Check out this story about gas prices in NYC.

There are some choice quotes from Senator Chuck Schumer.

I guess this is typical of the kind of response we can expect from our leaders in response to Peak Oil. Rather than address the real problem, they give us scape goats. To think I wasted my time writing him and Hillary a letter months ago...

Yup, you're right. But one day Schumer himself will probably be the scapegoat for someone else to win an election and take his seat in the Senate.
