I was just thinking to myself about how another attack like sept 11 th. or a similar attack ,but on a larger scale would effect us then throw peak oil into the mix ,my thoughts were devastating.What are your thoughts on what would procede another attack??

Okay, so what are the legal options for forcing release of those put-option files? For instance, lawsuit by the victims to seek damages from the perps, and hold the CBOE as a material witness?

If the Democrats were looking for something to win elections, that would be a key issue.

My personal guess: Highly placed Saudi princes. Not CIA and not Israel. But those particular Saudis are probably personally involved in the international oil trade, and blowing their cover or prosecuting them would cause a huge stink and a market disruption.

Re. future attacks: recent commentary in the NY Times to the effect that things have been too calm for too long, and Al Q is probably gearing up for another one. Particularly if the insurgency seems to be losing in Iraq, because Al Q would want to do something to restore their image.

It wouldn't matter much what the details of any attack would be, the results would be another round up of Middle Eastern men and a push to invade something.

Pentagon Papers Whistleblowers Call for a New 9/11 Investigation

Ellsberg is, of course, the former military analyst and famed whistleblower who smuggled the Pentagon Papers out of the Rand Corporation. Senator Gravel is the person who read the Pentagon Papers into the Congressional Record. This act made the papers public record, so that they could not be censored by the government.

Ellsberg and Gravel are receiving a lot of media attention right now for their support of Wikileaks. But little attention has been paid to Ellsberg and Gravel's support for a new 9/11 investigation. Ellsberg says that the case of a certain 9/11 whistleblower is "far more explosive than the Pentagon Papers". (Here's some of what that whistleblower says...)

He also said that the government is ordering the media to cover up her allegations about 9/11.

And he said that some of the claims concerning government involvement in 9/11 are credible, that "very serious questions have been raised about what they [U.S. government officials] knew beforehand and how much involvement there might have been", that engineering 9/11 would not be humanly or psychologically beyond the scope of those in office, and that there's enough evidence to justify a new, "hard-hitting" investigation into 9/11 with subpoenas and testimony taken under oath.

Speaking of the Pentagon, I can't believe they aired Jesse Ventura's conspiracy show on the Pentagon. Nothing we didn't already know, but hopefully many saw it. I loved how he talked about 48 surveillance cameras, yet they only produced 5 frames and it doesn't even show a plane. That had to open up a few eyes.

If he would have done a scientific analysis given the length of the plane, the speed it was traveling, and the frame rate of the surveillance cameras he might have been onto something. Otherwise this is just more 911 tinfoil.

Jesse also mentioned that on Sept 10th, 2001, Rummsfeld held a press conference and announced they can't account for 2.3 trillion dollars. Then on Sept 11th, something hit the Pentagon at the EXACT spot where the computers are that track these numbers and killed several of the accounting people.
