Was Britain in the 1930s Fascist? France? Belgium? What about Canada, Australia, New Zealand or the United States?

Not everything can be explained by orthodox Marxist historical materialism dogma.

As for Thailand:

That country needs a development plan that includes more than just making Bangkok an even bigger slum than it already is. Thailand's problems are at least partly the result of grossly unequal development.

Moreover, the protesters appear to be fighting against the military government BECAUSE it was not democratically elected. The protesters appear to be democratic freedom fighters. I'm inclined to side with them, if not their tactics.
