I saw someone say something about the public needing a movie to teach them about Peak Oil.

A friend and I have just completed a script that involves Peak Oil...I won't go into too many details, but it definitely could spark some debate on life after oil.

Our only question is...do we even have a chance at selling this thing? I think it's good, and it's actually part 1 of a trilogy, but I'm not so sure how producers will view it. Hopefully we'll find out soon.

Are you working with an agent? You'd probably have better luck selling it if you have an agent to help pitch it.

We just finished it, and really are just getting into the whole deal. We've found a couple agents we're going to contact, but we don't have one yet.

What about "The End of Suburbia". I think it does a pretty good job of exposing the idea, and it's getting a fair bit of exposure.

Or are you talking about a fiction movie with a Peak Oil background? That'd be a bit different.
