My Neighbor from Jordan gave me some survival tips yesterday when Mad Max comes to town. He lived in Jordan (in the city) during the civil unrest in the 70's.

Also,He told me 'you don't want to be on your own out in the middle of nowwhere, as you will die'.

Also, you don't want to be hiding in your house, you want to be very visible during the day and very well armed. He said his AK-47 had 3 30 round clips taped togather. His dad had a fully auto M-16. At night, you want to sleep in the Kitchen, not in your bedrooms. The shotgun is your last line of defense.

They had to get water from tankers as they showed up. There is no police, everyone is on their own. His main point was, be very well armed and visible during the day. Everyone had a lot of food stocked and shared with each other. Your neighborhood must band togather.

I am friends with many of my neighbors. Some are Doomers and all of them think we are going to hell in a handbasket. I have informal plans with some of them that if TSHTF, we would go door to door and organize the neighborhood, and then to lock it down and establish security. Some of them are actually city police and are trained for this very thing. They keep me abreast of any new mandatory training they receive in the department and some of it seems a little odd, as it directly relates to a wide range of SHTF scenarios which you don't want to think would actually happen.
