Artificial: How it feels

Unread postby Kristen » Mon 13 Apr 2009, 22:52:15

Artificial:

Artificial nutriments from a manufactory in the sky
Artificial potations envenoming our Eyesight
A diabolist spawning a redesigned method of life
Marauding the origins of the macrocosm

Artificial words echoed by the kingmaker
written by the connoissuer of craftiness
Creathing an artificial condition
One to soothe the animated mind

As we merge upon our eclipse
As we deface nature into a deep crevasse
We sacrafice our description
We are surrounded by an artificial abysm.

Sometimes its easier for me to express my thoughts through stanzas.
On the economic crisis:

A vivid painting bright and bold
an empty wallet in my hold
a stack of unopened envelopes a mile high
military arsons in the sky
a tornado blowing in my ear
as a forest fire rapidly appears
A speeding car behind me in the night
There's no light at the end of this plight

On life.

Why must they antagonize with my head?
Their malicious propecies causing dread
the Earth Spinning of its axis
a massive grave of life's end
a dradle and mosque burn to ashes

alone and alone I sit
muted by the uncertainity
I can forever wait for darkness
but darkness is not patient.

The herd feels it. There is a general anxiety in the population. It is evident in small talk. I don’t know if it is a result of the way our brains attach importance to numbers or if it is a general anticipation similar to the anxiety felt right at the end of the 19th century. Definitely there is a feeling that something is a amiss.

We just got swept up in "Lala Land." The word convience comes to mind. Now about numbers, I think in the 1990's we deluded ourselves into believing some magical tech breakthrough was going to happen. Instead we got 9/11 and the whole slue of crap that emerged with it. Coming down to Earth is going to seem like hell, but really its no big deal unless you make it so.

Harmlessly passing your time in the grassland away;
Only dimly aware of a certain unease in the air.
You better watch out,
There may be dogs about
Ive looked over jordan, and I have seen
Things are not what they seem.

What do you get for pretending the dangers not real.
Meek and obedient you follow the leader
Down well trodden corridors into the valley of steel.
What a surprise!
A look of terminal shock in your eyes.
Now things are really what they seem.
No, this is no bad dream.

The lord is my shepherd, I shall not want
He makes me down to lie
Through pastures green he leadeth me the silent waters by.
With bright knives he releaseth my soul.
He maketh me to hang on hooks in high places.
He converteth me to lamb cutlets,
For lo, he hath great power, and great hunger.
When cometh the day we lowly ones,
Through quiet reflection, and great dedication
Master the art of karate,
Lo, we shall rise up,
And then well make the buggers eyes water.

Bleating and babbling I fell on his neck with a scream.
Wave upon wave of demented avengers
March cheerfully out of obscurity into the dream.

Have you heard the news?
The dogs are dead!
You better stay home
And do as youre told.
Get out of the road if you want to grow old.
Perhaps the population would be less swayed to socialism if we had fewer examples of socialism from our "Free Market Capitalists". -----fiddler dave
