I was visiting Los Angeles that stormy November evening in 2003 listening to the excellent KPFK-Pacifica radio station when a caller made the point that Peak Oil is what it's all about (not even in context of what they discussed at the time). I did a search on that keyword and was blown away by the near future implications of the whole subject matter.

It is highly interesting that something so obvious is not going mainstream. It would be equally of interest to find out of how others stumbled over the subject in the first place.

i read about it the first time from easynews.com realy i was looking at info on a new virus that was posted in the newsgroups...what a wake up.
