I get out and about as much as possible--volunteer, take classes, teach classes, keep busy...but I never cease to be amazed that people don't stop and shout out their windows.

So many things are absurd--not just peak oil thoughts or possibilities, but governments, celebrities, corporations, everything.

It just seems like so much time is spent talking around and over and past each other that all the meaning gets lost along the way.

Here it is Chucky-B, The problem is intelligence for some , morals for others.
Some are just not smart enough to realize there is a world beyond their own existence, that they affect the world in a positive way when they do something good merely for the sake of doing what's good or right, and when they do something wrong or bad they are unaware it can have a ripple effect far beyond what they will witness or feel, no sense of Karma or "what goes around comes around."
Many others are smart enough to realize good can feed upon itself and grow, but they are morally bankrupt, while doing a good thing may make you and I feel good, these people feed on pain and misery, when they see someone happy or enjoying themselves it causes them pain, like sunlight to a vampire.
And there are some, ( a small minority), who feel nothing. They know neither happiness nor sadness to any appreciable degree. They exist, they go to work and toil unnoticed, neither smile nor scowl finds a home for long upon their face. They live alone and watch inanities on the tube, if they do marry it's to another "zombie". I fear this third group is growing in number.
This mass sedation and corruption is not by accident , it is by design.
